Contributing pro­ducer

Lhakpa Kyizom is a Contributing Producer for The Tibet Connection based in Dharamsala, India. She also works as a reporter for Voice of America’s Tibetan-​​language ser­vice.

Kyizom was born in Dharamsala, where she attended the Tibetan Children’s Village school. She grad­u­ated with an MA in Communications from Madras Christian College. She is cur­rently a training/​teaching offi­cer with the Active Non-​​Violence Education Center (ANEC), a Tibetan NGO ded­i­cated to edu­ca­tional pro­grams on the prin­ci­ples and strate­gies of non-​​violence to bring about social change.
