A new era begins for Tibetans

It’s a time of tran­si­tion for Tibetans: the elec­tion of a new prime min­is­ter, a new name for the Tibetan gov­ern­ment in exile, and a new role for the Dalai Lama, who remains Tibet’s spir­i­tual leader but is no longer the polit­i­cal head of the Tibetan gov­ern­ment.
