Tibetan Stanford student brings ‘critical thinking’ to TCV

Tenzin Seldon at Stanford
A young Tibetan Stanford University student, Tenzin Seldon, was one of 14 students to receive an international scholarship to tackle issues of social inequality. Seldon decided that critical thinking was something that Tibetan children lacked in their formal education. Coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the founding of Tibetan Children’s Village, she pioneered a class at Tibetan Children’s Village in Dharamsala, India, that is making students think in whole new ways.
