A Delegation of 31 representatives of the Chinese Democracy Movement from 7 countries visited Dharamsala, India on March 10th of this year to mark 50th anniversary of Tibetans in Exile. The Federation for a Democratic China, or FDC, is a political organization set up by exiled Chinese dissidents in the wake of the Tiananmen square massacre where thousands of pro-democracy demonstrators were killed by the People’s Liberation Army. Next month marks the 20th anniversary of that massacre.

Our Lhakpa Kyizom spoke to one of the visiting delegates, Chin Jin, who reflects on what Chinese democracy might mean for Tibet as well as what the Dalai Lama means to him.
