Producer Julie Adler meets up with renowned Buddhist teacher and author Reggie RayReginald Ray in Los Angeles to talk about his lat­est book, Touching Enlightenment and what it means to embody spir­i­tu­al­ity in a what is becom­ing a more dis­em­bod­ied world.

Reginald “Reggie” Ray is a lead­ing Buddhist aca­d­e­mic and Vajra Master, teach­ing in the lin­eage of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche. Since 1974 he has taught in the Religious Studies Department at Naropa University where he cur­rently is a pro­fes­sor. Ray is a senior stu­dent of Chögyam Trungpa. Ray divides his time between Naropa University and the Dharma Ocean Foundation in Crestone, Colorado, Touching Enlightenment book coverwhich he leads with his wife Lee. The Dharma Ocean Foundation is a non-​​profit edu­ca­tional foun­da­tion ded­i­cated to the prac­tice, study and preser­va­tion of the teach­ings of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche and the prac­tice lin­eage he embod­ied. Dr. Reginald A. Ray and Mrs. Lee Ray are the co-​​founders of the Dharma Ocean Foundation and the pri­mary teach­ers. Ray is also author of the such books as Buddhist Saints in India, Indestructible Truth and his lat­est, Touching Enlightenment.
